How Pregnancy Is The Most Important Stage Of The Majority...

Pregnancy is the most important stage in the majority of woman’s life. This period brings a lot of changing for the pregnant, and a lot of doubts as well. And the purpose of this lecture is to elucidate some common doubts that woman have about this subject and give a lot of hints and advises to make this period even better and enjoyable. In the lecture â€Å"Optimizing your pregnancy: Healthy Pregnancy† (2012), Aziz points out some aspects that pregnant should care about. Some of this aspects are: what should be made in preconception stage, what happens in the first prenatal visit, how is the development of the baby along the trimesters, and some specialized counseling. During the lecture â€Å"Optimizing your pregnancy: Healthy Pregnancy†, Aziz (2012) mentions that in order to a woman have a healthy pregnancy, she needs to take some cares in the preconception step, such as preparing for pregnancy, optimizing pre-existing medical conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure. Aim for ideal weight and health lifestyle, as examples she warns to avoid the tobacco, alcohol and drugs. In addition, Aziz says that a woman needs to consult her physician about medication safety, and to choose prenatal vitamins such as folic acid and DHA (omega 3 fat acids). It is also important to keep track on the woman’s menstrual period to discover when the baby will be conceived.
